CDA Anti-encroachment Operations
Capital Development Authority (CDA) speed up the Anti Encroachment Drive in the city. It has demolished various unapproved, illegal structures & constructions.
As per news sources, massive operation was carried out in Sector H-12. Enforcement Directorate, himself was present at the site. Meanwhile, Islamabad Capital Administration, Islamabad Police & other concerned departments were present at the site. It demolished the following structures:
- 53 rooms
- 16 washrooms
- 22 kitchens
In sector G-10/3, one illegally constructed boundary wall adjacent to a government residence was also destroyed. Moreover, on Club Road, at the back of Regency Hotel, several illegal entities were built on 2 Kanal land. During this operation, following illegal structures demolished:
- Pet sheds
- Security cabin
- Tents
- Generators
- Fence
Similar operation conducted in Sector I-12 and H-12 where 103 rooms, 23 kitchens & 14 washrooms were demolished. In the meanwhile, in sector I-9, 2 under construction rooms were also destroyed.
