Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) affirmed 14 residential projects unlawful as per resources.
Under Punjab Private Housing Schemes & Land Subdivision Rules-2010, the Director Metropolitan Planning & Traffic Engineering in a notification declared the name of these 14 illegal housing schemes. Fines & notices have already been issued to the concerned owners of the societies mentioned below.
Most of the societies fall on Dhamyal Road, Chakri Road & Adiala Road. Name of these illegal societies include:
- Mehmood Town – Moza Misriot
- Bank Colony Phase-2
- Chinar Valley – Moza Banda Nagiyal
- Iqbal Town
- Al-Madina town – Moza misriot
- Kasmir Heaven Valley – Moza Banda Nagiyal
- Al-Jannat Garden
- Blue World City
- Al-Haram City Phase-3
- Adiala Town
- City Town – Moza Trahya
- Gallop Green Farm Homes
All of these societies fall under the jurisdiction of RDA. The civil body has cautioned to cease advertisement & marketing right away. In case of incompetence, site or booking office would be sealed by authorities. Furthermore, general masses are also advised to refrain from investing their hard-earned money in any such illegal projects.
