Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) affirmed to destroy all buildings that are being constructed without any legal approval from concerned department. RCB already issued notices to 12 such building owners.

Reportedly, Rawalpindi Cantonment Board also confiscate various construction materials from sites. Notices issued upon the violation of following legal laws
- Cantonment Acts 185
- Cantonment Acts 256
Previously, RCB operated against anti-encroachments in the area of Misrial Road, Farooqabad, Peshawar Road and Quaid-e-Azam colony. Also, Saddar, Kashmir Road, Misrial Road and Band Road will be served next. In addition, Rawalpindi Cantonment Board also removed the bill boards, banners and hoardings that were displayed without board’s permission.
