The Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) along with other private firm decided to build Phase-1 of Green Enclave near Bara Kahu Islamabad. Both the firms have also reached to an agreement.
Almost 700 Kanals land is handed over to FGEHF. This project was deferred till now due to unavailability of desired land. Previous, reserved land was majorly comprised of highland & mountainous region.
With the effect of this new agreement, private firm have transferred an alternative land to the foundation. Green Enclave is also known as Barakahu Housing Scheme.

FGEHG works under Ministry of Housing & Works. This foundation came into being in 1989. It particularly works to provide the residential units for Federal Government employees. The main aim of this foundation is to bring such opportunities that will aid federal government employees to have their own shelter on ownership basis before their retirement.
Lifestyle Residencia, Thallian Housing Scheme, Park Road Housing Scheme & several other are the ongoing projects of this foundation while several are already completed.
