Capital Development Authority (CDA) revealed several edifices used as an apartment complex have not acquired completion certificates before launching it for public use.
As per news sources, there are almost such 30 plots. These plots are then build as apartment buildings. However, owners doesn’t possess the required certificates. This certificate is mandatory. Also, it is issued only & only if building meets the measurements prescribed by CDA. It includes fire exit arrangements. Safety measurements, implementation of building layout plan & overall quality of building infrastructure.
As per Faisal Naeem, Director Building Control, several buildings in rural areas have not acquired these certificates. Moreover, all the necessary actions would be taken to tackle this situation.
