Capital Development Authority (CDA) reconstructed the sector I-14’s main double road. This work is done on part of CDA’s new drive for rehabilitation of sectors.

As per news sources, both roads of 8 kilometer is treated with Triple Surface Treatment (TST). This specific road is used by passengers of three sectors i.e. I-14, I-15 and I-16. Overall, the cost of project is estimated to 50 Million.

Previously, the project was kept in pipeline due to lack of funds. CDA Chief personally visited the site and enlightened about the immediate need of road’s reconstruction. On his directives, Finance wing of CDA urgently issued the required amount.
Other than that, CDA also done following in order to maintain sectors’ development work
- Solved drainage issues
- Repaired road fixtures
- Maintain protection walls
