Capital Development Authority (CDA) lifts the ban on property transfer in Zone-III of Islamabad on Prime Minister Imran Khan instructions.

As per Dawn News Report, PM has chaired a meeting of CDA. He said that it would be against the law to curb the right of land owner to transfer property. They are allowed to do transactions of there properties. The civic agencies should only keep check & balance in construction of edifice in the area to avoid illegal development.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed CDA & Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration to remove ban in Zone-III of Islamabad. Few years ago, a ban was imposed to restrict new construction in the area & also to transfer of land.

Despite the ban, people will still be selling & buying land in Zone-III. CDA has failed to take any measures in this regard. Meanwhile, CDA has advised people to not invest in the area of Margalla Hills, National Park & Zone-III. It is also speculated that issues of Zone-III would also be addressed in the new Master Plan of Islamabad.
