Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) decided to make an inspection team to scrutinize housing schemes falls in jurisdiction of RDA. Scrutinize Housing Schemes team will be responsible to ensure that whether developers actually providing the proposed amenities & service or not. This team will work under the supervision of Tahir Miyo, Metropolitan Town Planning & Traffic Engineering Director.

Furthermore, inspection team will conduct various surveys from residents. The basic aims is to find out
- The availability of basic facilities
- Condition of roads
- Provision of mosques
- Maintenance of hospitals
- Development of horticulture and recreational centers
As per news report, various residential projects are involved in constructing residential or commercial plots in an area reserved for either amenities or green belts. Thus, RDA taken this step to stop this illegal buying and selling.
