Special Economic Zone to create 1.5M jobs this year

May 20, 2021: Four Special Economic Zone to create almost 1.5 million jobs this year. These four special economic zones include Rashakai M-1 Nowshehra, Dhabeji Thatta, Allama Iqbal Industrial City Faisalabad, and Bostan Balochistan. These Economic Zones will not only create job opportunities but they will also promote trade activities in the country, Said the Senior Official of the Board of Investment (BOI).

Addressing the media, Officials were very confident about these Special Economic Zone (SEZ). They are a part of the Game Changer Project, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Adding more they stated that it is the top priority of the Government to complete these projects as soon as possible.

Answering a question, the officials state that they are welcoming Chinese industries in these SEZs. This will eventually bring new directions for modern industrialization in Pakistan.
