Sindh Government to Launch Solar Home Systems in 10 Districts

Sindh: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah called upon the Provincial Energy Minister Imtiaz Shiekh, Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah, and other concerned Officials in a meeting chaired by Himself.

Furthermore, the agenda of the meeting was to launch solar home systems for 10 Districts in Sindh. Work is complete in regards to this System and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah will inaugurate the project next month.

Moreover, this project is a collaboration between the Government of Sindh and the World Bank.

This is a mega project and will be giving 20,000 homes in each district. Authorities will distribute a total of 200,000 Homes under the mighty project. Interesting thing is that the provincial government will provide a 50% Subsidy to beneficiaries.
