Sector H-16 status planned to change by CDA
Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned a change in master plan of sector H-16 of Islamabad. Previously, it was particularly reserved for educational infrastructure only. However, with effect of CDA’s new planning, it will altered in to residential space. The decision taken was to facilitate the affected of land acquisition.
Thousands of residents of Chauntra Village in the north of Sector E-10 & Sector D-11 are now displaced. Now, CDA has decided to accommodate them here by changing the status of sector. CDA spokesperson Syed Safdar Ali said the summary will be presented before the board. Moreover, it will be presented to the Federal Cabinet for final approval.
