Rawalpindi Ring Road: Section 4 of Punjab Land Revenue Act Imposed

The district Revenue Department imposed Section 4 of Punjab Land Revenue Act in 27 villages. With this effect, the sales & purchase of the land declared illegal. This section is imposed on the area that present adjacent to Rawalpindi Ring Road.

Commissioner (Retd) Captain Mohammad Mahmood also confirmed this decision. Moreover, the senior official of the district administration said that PKR 4 Billion already earmarked for land acquisition. This decision will further removes the hurdles in land acquisition for the project.

Following villages will directly come in to effect of this decision.

  • Buga Sangral
  • Baga Miana
  • Ghora Bharta
  • Mera Bharata
  • Chak Thoha
  • Losar
  • Chak Khas
  • Davari
  • Kotla Sunia
  • Gahi Mira
  • Khengar Kalan
  • Bhatti Nardian
  • Hoshial

It is also said that before the financial year 2021, all legal formalities for this project will be done.
