Divisional Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi, Captain (R) Saqib Zafar himself visited Rashid Minhas Road to check the progress of “Join Hands with PHA for the Revival of Rawalpindi”. Pakistan Horticultural Authority (PHA), Asif Mehmood also accompanied him. They directed all concerned government departments to ensure to complete the beautification work at Rashid Minhas Road in next 10 days.

DC Rawalpindi expressed his views that all concerned individuals are ordered to visit decided places themselves. It’s their responsibility to make sure work is at par. Once completed, it will move its attention towards the city’s other issues as whole. It includes following agendas
- Waste disposal system
- Efficient Traffic signals
- Encroachments solution
- Food streets
- New spots for wholesale marketers
In addition, DC Rawalpindi also ordered to remove broken trash bins, benches and stones alongside of roads. It is also aimed to make city clean and green for attracting more tourists.
