Burma Bridge

Capital Development Authority (CDA) began reconstruction work on Burma Bridge. It is present alongside Lehtrar Road. This ramshackle bridge is frequently used by passengers of Islamabad Expressway. Despite of its frequent users, this project was keeping postponed from last 7 years.

1 year time period is affirmed for the completion of project. Meanwhile, CDA also announced that all the legal formalities have been fulfilled. Also, all the hurdles causing defer to this project is also eliminated.

CDA has announced to reconstruct this bridge in budget announcement. Calculated expense is almost Rs.199 Million that is 3.97% lower than expected. Furthermore, civic body asked contractors to transparency & quality. They also warned them to do no further delay the project.

This 152 meters long and 11.5 meters wide bridge will help elevating the traffic jam. Moreover, it will also provide easy & safe route to passengers as well.
