Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced new guidelines for skyscraper in Sector E-11, Islamabad. Through a Statutory Regulatory Order (SRO), civic agency already notified developers of current projects about the condition.

As per news reports, more than 50 skyscrapers are present in this particular sectors. CDA has imposed a ban on high-rise building in sector E-11 previously. CDA claimed that many projects did not possess any initial approvals from CDA at all. These projects executed due to absence of any such law & order implementation.

The SRO said the agency will legalize the skyscraper in Sector E-11 after getting the compoundable & non-compoundable charges from the corresponding developers. Moreover, CDA also asked them to follow the environmental laws as well. Moreover, they are also asked to provide proper amenities & facilitate to their residents. Developers involved in illegal development will be served with charges & penalties as per Zoning Control Policy 2007.
