Capital Development Authority (CDA) aims to enhance the beauty & start development work of existing sectors rather than introducing new ones. As per news sources, CDA dismissed the idea to acquire more land for new sectors.

It is decided to include Federal Government in this development drive. It will minimize the difficulties in taking formal & legal decisions. According to the news reports, there are almost 15 sectors whose development work is kept in pipeline for decades. Stalled sectors are listed below:

- I-15
Also, development work is delayed in CDA projects including Park Enclave II, Kuri Model Village, Chatta Bakhtawar residential project. In the same vein, CDA is also determined to uplift the standard of development in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) especially in terms of building construction parameters.
