Ring Road rawalpindi is expecting to build 2 new interchanges in its ongoing plan. Private housing societies in Rawalpindi ring road vicinity will collaborate with authorities for the construction. Rawalpindi Commissioner Capt (R) Muhammad Mehmood presided over the session. The proposal shared in a meeting to discuss various aspects of the planned project.

Rawalpindi Development Authority presented the idea to bring the developers of private residential schemes on board for the construction of interchanges. As per the details available, the proposed interchanges will be developed at the RR starting point near Radio Pakistan Building on main GT Road & at the ending point on Sanjani Interchange on the Lahore-Islamabad M2 Motorway.
