NESPAK awarded feasibility study contract for Kacheri Chowk Remodeling project: RDA
Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has awarded the contract for conducting the feasibility study for the planned Kacheri Chowk Re modelling project to the National Engineering Services of Pakistan (NESPAK).
According to RDA, the contract is awarded on the basis of the lowest bid that is submitted by NESPAK. NESPAK has proposed an 8.5 Million bid for the completion of the project. Meanwhile, the authority had reserved PKR 15 million for conducting the project’s feasibility study.
Reportedly, the feasibility study will help the authorities determine whether underpass or flyover will work at the said chowk. Determining the most suitable project design will ensure fixing the long-standing traffic congestion issues in the city.
