ICT de-sealed Bara Kahu & Shahzad Town

Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) cleared Bara Kahu & Shahzad Town after 17 days. It was sealed after several cases of Coronavirus found in the area. However, ICT after taking all the preventive measure unsealed the area.

As per news sources, Bahria Town Management launched a campaign to combat the virus in the area. With the help of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) & the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Bahria Town used disinfectant spray in the area. As number of positive cases found in Bara Kahu. The 2 day campaign showed its results.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad took decision after health authorities clearance. A senior official revealed that only a street adjacent to Makki Masjid in Bhara Kahu and a street in Shahzad Town remained sealed. Ramsha Colony in H-9 sector was also unsealed. These societies along with various other sealed by ICT on March 24.
